Not going to uni launches vocational training guide

Wednesday’s focus of National Apprenticeship Week was all about traineeships and access to professions. To champion this, has launched its annual ‘Apprenticeship and Vocational training Guide’ which aims to demonstrate to young people the large number of options available to them when they finish school.
The guide outlines the benefits of vocational education such as apprenticeships or traineeships, and offers insight into the roles available and advice on to how to find training courses.
Spencer Melman, Managing Director of, said: “How can someone possibly make an informed decision when they’re only told about university? We’re not at all against students going down the route of undertaking a degree, we just want to ensure that they are educated upon all route so that they can make the right decision for themselves.”
