Ashley Perry

Ashley started his Apprenticeship career as a Project Worker, with an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Bricklaying (Level 2), and began working with Cornwall Community Action Network (CCAN) in October 2012.

Through working with CCAN, Ashley gained valuable work experience at a variety of community projects, including refurbishments at Camborne Redruth Amateur Boxing Club. He made excellent progress with his Intermediate Apprenticeship, through his hard work, a desire to progress in the construction trade, and support from his trainers and assessors over any hurdles.

In April 2014, Ashley progressed onto an Advanced Apprenticeship in Bricklaying (Level 3), and is now employed with Ableway Developments, a property development company in St Ives.

Ashley said, “Everyone has encouraged me to try my very best and always had my best interests at heart. DMT Business Services and Cornwall Community Action Network have given me the confidence to broaden my horizons and actually do something with my life”.
